Esra and Heit, two lovers, cycle from east to west, from Görlitz to Mülheim an der Ruhr, more than 800 kilometers across a cross-section of Germany. They lose themselves in landscapes and cities, miss each other while searching for each other, and meet others along the way. "NO SPEED NO LIMIT" is a staged bicycle tour about two people who want to find each other. Somewhere beautiful. But there is only German normality. Their longing for a paradise in the present contrasts sharply with the mixed forest and the federal highway. A reader rides along with the two and tries to make sense of it all. Of the constant transformations, of the longings, of cycling.
"NO SPEED NO LIMIT" is a production by Rita Grechen GbR in co-production with the Impulse Festival for Theater, Performance, and Dance.
