The end of the world has become easier for us to imagine than the end of capitalism. In our piece Hält uns wach we ask to what extent the apparently no-alternative economics of growth secretly shapes our everyday life. In the Pathos we have set up realistic rooms that the audience can experience individually. They not only stand for recurring parts of the day, but also for the scenes of late modern life: work, family, art, privacy. Attempts to break out of the daily grind in the evening become a sound installation in the Halle 6, where the audience spends the time together between the days. Late at night a new world wakes up outside, quite hungover.

Hält uns wach was funded by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich and Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
